Bear Lodge - Fairbanks

Rude manager offered no solutions.

The location of the hotel was favourable, on the outskirts of town. And it was also short walk to relaxed restaurant as well as a pond.

a nice quiet area, magnificent location really close to relaxed restaurant as well as the outskirts of town with nothing to do around. the staff were excellent, thoughtful and helped me with free parking.

The room was nice, but it was not cleaned at all during my entire 3-night stay, just unacceptable. I asked for an exception since I was paying $300 a night, but the manager, Ruth, was surprisingly rude and completely dismissive. A welcome gift woudl ve been a lovely touch, guess that's too much to ask here.

The lodge offers fantastic hiking opportunities with trails for everyone. We loved exploring the beautiful scenery together. Plus, the rooms were clean and we appreciated the peaceful ambiance throughout our stay.

My kids wished for more activities geared towards family fun.

Our spacious room had everything we needed, like a fridge and coffee maker. The free shuttle service made moving around Fairbanks easy.

Spacious room, clean room, with a good location near bus stops that make it easy to explore the local area and enjoy the available amenities like the fitness center and 24-hour reception.

The staff service could be improved as there were several instances of miscommunication and delays during check-in.

During my three-night stay, the room was a good size and very clean. The lodge had a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and nice trails for walks. My experience exceeded my expectations, especially with the clean room and pleasant ambiance.

During the stay, the rooms were large and comfortable, and the hotel’s proximity to a picturesque lake and automotive museum was a pleasant surprise. The limited dining options and a broken door handle in our room left a bit to be desired.

The bear lodge offers great nature walks and beautiful flower gardens. The staff is friendly (always a plus!) and attentive.

This was just a good pick for a weekend getaway in Fairbanks with good value for money. The room itself was very clean, and we appreciated the nice decor, made our stay more enjoyable. Make sure to check the AC before settling in to avoid any discomfort.
